The original 'usgs100K' layer was developed by the Biogeography Lab, University of California, Santa Barbara as a polygon coverage of 100k quadrangle boundary maps for California. Rr_1100kgrdu.shp was created by Circuit Rider Productions, Inc. Rr_1100kgrdu represents the portion of the 100k quadrangle boundry map polygon coverage that is within the watershed boundaries of the Russian River basin. This metadata file incorporates information that is specific to this layer as well as information that is available in the original metadata file for the Biogeography Lab, University of California, Santa Barbara (100quad). Portions of this metadata file that borrow text from USGS100K are indicated in quotation marks.
