The original cercla_points layer was developed as a coverage named CER_Site, developed by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Rr_cercla_points.shp was created by Circuit Rider Productions, Inc. Rr_cercla_points represents the portion of the CERCLA locations that are within the watershed boundaries of the Russian River basin. This metadata file incorporates information that is specific to this layer as well as information that is available in the original metadata file for the CERCLA locations (cer_site). Portions of this metadata file that borrow text from cer_site are indicated in quotation marks.
